Our Response to COVID-19
We know these are uncertain times for all businesses and people. We want you to know that The Bernard Group is closely monitoring and following the state and federal government’s COVID-19 guidelines. We’re taking extra precautions to ensure our employees are safe and we are continuing to serve our customers’ needs.
Most employees outside of our production facilities are working from home. TBG operates four distinct manufacturing buildings, which is a deliberate part of our contingency planning. These buildings are being disinfected with frequency, we’ve provided our employees with protective procedures and supplies, and are enforcing social distancing. To this end, our workforce is staying in their respective buildings and divisions, working remotely at home whenever possible, and using video conferencing versus gathering in groups.
We’ve eliminated non-essential travel and are minimizing visitors to our facilities. However, we and many of our clients, have been in touch via video conferencing via Google Hangouts and other systems.
At this time, we are not experiencing disruptions to operations. In fact, we are responding to immediate signage requests as a priority and are pleased to have an automated digital platform to meet the needs of our clients. Please reach out to your TBG account executive for more information or if you have any questions. However, we are actively modifying our contingency plans and being as nimble as possible – with safety at the forefront. As more information and guidance from the state and federal governments become available, we will modify plans as necessary.
