Illuminating Audio Technology

Starkey

The Bernard Group (TBG) partnered with Starkey, a frontrunner in hearing technology, to execute an advanced, high-tech concept. The goal was to transform a flat concept into a multi-dimensional, permanent brand experience at their corporate headquarters.

TBG handled the full production and execution of the design, ensuring every material choice reflected Starkey’s innovative identity. The installation features a layered mix of textures and technology:

  • Foundation: A full-surface 3M vinyl wall wrap provides the backdrop.
  • Dimensionality: Custom White Recycled 3015 Pin Letters add depth and tactile interest.
  • Branding: A P95 frosted acrylic sign mounted with MBS standoffs creates a sleek, floating effect.
  • Illumination: 13 LED backlit circles provide a futuristic glow, framing the display’s focal points.

Built for a 10-year lifespan, this permanent installation in Eden Prairie, MN, balances longevity with flexibility. While the physical structure is static, integrated television screens allow Starkey to update their AI-driven content in real-time, keeping the display relevant for a decade to come.
